Mission

To support and accompany primarily Spanish-speaking families throughout their reproductive journey—from preconception to the prenatal, birth, and postpartum stages. To foster a conscious and humanized pregnancy and birth experience, while improving birth outcomes through education and the empowerment of women, with a focus on the health and well-being of both mother and baby.

When I went into labor and called her at 4am she answered and kept in touch until it was really go time and she came over. I was able to be in labor for only 40 hours, and I kept progressing and was able to do it naturally. Definitely do not know what I would have done without her. Support and Care Service

Comprehensive Support During Pregnancy

I offer comprehensive support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, providing physical, emotional, and informational guidance every step of the way. This includes childbirth education, pain management techniques, and creating a personalized birth plan, as well as continuous presence during active labor with comfort measures and emotional support.

In the postpartum period, I assist with breastfeeding, newborn care, emotional recovery, light household tasks, and referrals to other professionals. I also offer in-person or virtual educational classes on birth preparation, breastfeeding, newborn care, and the emotional transition into parenthood.

Services include prenatal and postpartum visits, personalized education, and open communication from the start of the contract, with on-call availability beginning at 37 weeks of pregnancy.

Postpartum Care

The postpartum period can be challenging, and having the right support is essential. I offer postpartum care services to help you adjust to life with your new baby. From breastfeeding guidance to emotional support, I’m here to walk with you through this new chapter and ensure you feel cared for and supported.

While standalone postpartum packages are not offered at this time, some of the birth support packages do include postpartum visits. These may also include help with baby care, light household tasks, and more — always tailored to your unique needs.

Childbirth Preparation Classes

The childbirth preparation classes are designed to empower you with knowledge and confidence. You will learn about the birth process, breathing techniques, and effective ways to manage pain. These classes also provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with other expectant mothers and share experiences.

Breastfeeding Support Services

Breastfeeding can be a challenging journey, and I am here to provide the guidance you need. I will offer you practical techniques and tips to help you establish successful breastfeeding, as well as emotional support through any challenges that may arise. You are not alone on this path—I am here to support you!

What is a Doula?

A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother before, during, and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

How is a doula different from a midwife?

A midwife is a healthcare professional who provides medical care to women during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I do not provide medical care but offer support and guidance to complement the care provided by midwives and doctors.

How do I get started with your doula services?

To get started, you can contact me to schedule a free consultation. We’ll discuss your needs, answer any questions you have, and I will explain my services and packages in detail.

What services do you provide as a doula?

I offer a range of services, including prenatal visits, labor support, and postpartum visits. I provide comfort measures, help with pain management techniques, offer emotional support, and assist with breastfeeding and newborn care.

What are the costs of your doula services?

My doula packages range from $850 to $1,650. The number of prenatal and postpartum visits varies according to the package you choose. Please contact me for more detailed pricing information and to discuss a package that suits your specific requirements.

Do you accept payment plans?

I do accept payment plans up until the 37th week of pregnancy. Payments can be made bi-weekly or monthly. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the date.

Can you help with hospital births?

Yes, I can support births in hospitals, birth centers, and at home. I work alongside medical staff to ensure that your wishes are respected and that you have a positive birth experience.

Will you be present during the entire labor and delivery?

I will be with you from the moment you need me — usually once you’re in a consistent pattern of contractions — and will stay with you through active labor, birth, and shortly after your baby is born, providing continuous support. This timing may vary, especially in the case of inductions, since they can be unpredictable. We’ll stay in close communication throughout the process so I can join you when you feel ready.

Can I still benefit from a doula if I plan to have an epidural or C-section?

Absolutely. I support all types of birth plans, including those involving epidurals or C-sections. I help you understand your options and provide support to ensure a positive experience.

What kind of postpartum support do you provide?

I help with newborn care, breastfeeding support, emotional and physical recovery from birth, light household tasks, and helping your family adjust to the new baby. The number of postpartum visits varies according to the package you select or what your insurance plan may cover.

How do I choose the right doula for me?

Choosing the right doula involves considering experience, training, and personality. It's important to have a consultation with potential doulas to ensure they align with your birth philosophy and that you feel comfortable with them.

Do you accept insurance?

I currently accept Sunshine Health, Aetna Better Health, and UnitedHealthcare Community under Medicaid. If you’re not sure whether your plan is covered, feel free to message me!
